Our Goal / Our Educational Intention
We learn natural philosophy through studying physical metallurgy.
Welcome to the website of the Environmentally Benign and Robust Materials Laboratory. This site summarizes the activities of undergraduate and graduate students involved in research with Profs. Yamasaki and Kawamura.
Our research interests include the development of new wrought Mg alloys with high strength, good ductility, and high corrosion-resistance, based on new multimodal microstructure design concept. We are currently engaged in the research and development of Mg alloys with a long period stacking ordered structure and mille-feuille structure.
